Based on the classic Barbie Doll cake, this updated version featured Jewel Sparkles from the popular Lalaloopsy Doll collection. The doll was dressed in a sugar version of her pink and white polka dot outfit and layers of two tone pink Strawberry Mud Cake and White Chocolate Ganache were covered with pink rolled fondant to form her skirt. A birthday cake fit for a princess! Tiers of Chocolate Mud Cake, White Vanilla with Mango Pineapple Preserve & Coconut Ganache and White Vanilla with Banana Choc Chip Ganache were covered with rolled fondant in shades of pink and a rich gold lustre, Decorated with sugar pearls, gold swags and crowns and sugar blossoms, the design was topped with a handcrafted gold sugar paste tiara.
